WHO'S PUMPED UP?!?!?!?!

I am.

As you surely know, this is our fifth episode - first special edition. There were MULTIPLE changes to the set list for even more reasons, but you made it! Because you guys had to wait so long, I'll release it online Thursday night, rather than the typical Saturday.

Y'all know to post your feedback on this episode here, but what you don't know is that from now until the end of the season [The Foreign Connection - Season 1 is slated to have 20 episodes, but there are numerous discussions being had about the show before that information is released] I will be posting more detailed information about things I mentioned during the show, I will be much more interactive in terms of requests (you'll see that I list them below), and hopefully, I'll be able to make a compilation project...what I mean by that and how practical the idea is...is another story.

Before I continue, as well, I must thank Steve Grosz, the guy who made this show all possible. Additionally, for those of you who can't hear the local FM show on Sundays due to fuzzy signals (and other excuses) there are two solutions:
1) The station website. Check out the "Listen Online" button, and stay tuned at 9pm every Sunday!
2) Download the TuneIn Radio application for your smart phone and find KVIT (The Goldmine)!

I'll stop with the professional stuff and get down to business! Listed below are bands that I have cued (via request) to appear as soon as possible:

-Pannonia Allstars Ska Orchestra
-Leessang
-Tinchy Stryder
-The Ruts
-Stiff Little Fingers
-Cherry Filter

More will be listed shortly.

The British Connection (Episode 5) Set List is the following: (In order of appearance)

"Taxman" by The Beatles
"Rhinestone Eyes" by The Gorillaz
"Hard to Beat" by Hard-Fi
"Helicopter" by Bloc Party
"Crystallized" by The xx
"How Soon is Now?" by The Smiths
"Grounds for Divorce" by Elbow
"Lotus Flower" by Radiohead [New Release]
"A Place to Hide" by White Lies
"Rock 'n Roll Queen" by The Subways
"Style Wars" by Hijack
"Clocks" by Coldplay
"Won't Get Fooled Again" by The Who

If you were interested in Radiohead's new album, check out www.thekingoflimbs.com and if you wanted to see Thom Yorke's kickin' rad dancing, check this link out.

Elbow's new album can be downloaded on the Official Page, and the internet's most credible resource and yours truly, this is one of - if not their best album so far. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Build_a_Rocket_Boys!

And, of course, the raw file can be accessed here, but it's SO much more fun if you have it immediately downloaded to your iPod, isn't it? We're still on iTunes, so subscribe!

Thanks for listening guys, y'all make it worthwhile.
