What is the Foreign Connection?

Welcome listeners and music lovers. This is the blog for the syndicated Radio Show "The Foreign Connection" currently featured on iTunes, Zune Radio, and numerous radio stations, including the flagship station 90.7FM KVIT (Apache Junction, AZ), and more locations coming soon.

The show is dedicated to bringing music that most do not know about to American ears. The Foreign Connection breaks down barriers between foreign music and the US border to reveal that although the language is not always the same, the sounds human beings love to hear transcend this cultural block. TFC features music of all languages and all genres. Ska, Metal, Alternative, Pop, Reggae and Everything else.

The show is created, hosted, produced, and written by Charles Riley Wanless. He is a DJ at 90.7FM The Goldmine, and the founder of our program. The purpose for this blog will be to source the online Podcast files, list the songs and artists featured on the show, to open a connection between the listener and our program, and finally, to share information about foreign music. On this site, we encourage listeners to post feedback on the show, and suggest music for us to play. Who knows, your suggestion just might be on the next show!
