I melded them together following the recommendations found on Puddlegum's page, give some exceptions I will discuss this Sunday.

SECOND, "The Plan":
"Consider that In Rainbows was meant to complement OK Computer, musically, lyrically, and in structure. We found that the two albums can be knit together beautifully. By combining the tracks to form one playlist, 01 and 10, we have a remarkable listening experience. The transitions between the songs are astounding, and it appears that this was done purposefully."
- Puddlegum

With big bands like Radiohead, conspiracies spring up all the time. For instance, Chuck Klosterman analyzed "Kid A" and noted how accurately it portrayed the September 11th attacks in 2005, and with the new mysterious "Newspaper Album" coming out, people are always blogging up crazy ideas. This one, however, states that "In Rainbows" was built as a compliment (similar to a Double Album) for "OK Computer". Puddlegum continues to articulate the theory:

"The lyrics also seem to complement each other. There appears to be a concept flowing through the 01 and 10 playlist. Ideas in one song is picked up by the next, such as 'Pull me out of the aircrash,' and 'When I’m at the pearly gates, this will be my videotape.'"
[Puddlegum II]

When I first listened (using a 10-second crossfade on iTunes) it impressed me how well it seemed to flow. Granted, putting a crossfade on any two songs makes them flow together better, but this honestly sounded like one album to me.

Which brings me to...

THIRD: "The Execution."
I followed the instructions puddlegum listed:

"To create the 01 and 10 playlist, begin with OK Computer’s track one, Airbag, and follow this with In Rainbow’s track one, 15 Step. Alternate the albums, track by track, until you reach Karma Police on OK Computer, making All I Need the tenth track on the 01 and 10 playlist. Follow Karma Police with Fitter Happier from OK Computer, for tracks eleven and twelve. These two tracks act as a bridge between the first ten and the following ten tracks on the 01 and 10 playlist. Then continue to alternate the albums again, picking up with Faust Arp on In Rainbows, with Electioneering on OK Computer as the following track."
[Puddlegum III]

Now, some of the tracks I felt sounded better when modified slightly. (By this, I mean without the full 10-second crossfade.) For you geeks out there, here are the ones I messed with:

15 Step -> Paranoid Android
Paranoid Android is at full volume all the way; 15 Step fades out

Subterranean Homesick Alien -> Nude
Both are full volume, synced naturally.

Nude -> Exit Music for a Film
Exit Music, being oddly quiet in comparison to the others, is at 120% volume the whole time; Nude fades out

Let Down -> All I Need
Let Down is full volume; All I Need fades in quickly

Karma Police -> Fitter Happier
Since they're back-to-back on "OK Computer", I just stuck them next to each other without a crossfade

Fitter Happer -> Faust Arp
No volume modification, played over each other for a couple of seconds

Faust Arp -> Electioneering
Electioneering fades in; Faust Arp plays full volume without fade

Electioneering -> Reckoner
Reckoner fades in; Electioneering plays full volume without fade

Reckoner -> Climbing Up The Walls
Reckoner fades on its own, so I left it as it was; Climbing Up the Walls was left full volume with an artificial fade

Climbing Up The Walls -> House of Cards
Both left full volume, ten second overlap

House of Cards -> No Surprises
House of Cards is left full volume without fade; No Surprises fades in

Jigsaw Falling into Place -> Lucky
Both full volume, ten second overlap

Lucky -> Videotape
Videotape fades in; Lucky is untouched

Videotape -> The Tourist
The Tourist fades in; Videotape untouched
